This brother epitomises everything I love about the urban blues of the 50′s, the man and the music had so much soul, it oozed effortlessly so much swagger, in fact, I find myself pimp boppin down the street when I’m listenin to him, lol.
Amongst his peers, who I might add were all hugely talented and inspirational, he stands out for me with the tone of his voice. I don’t think there’s been one like it before or since!
And this song was one of the first Howlin Wolf numbers that took me.

Its been a very busy couple of weeks for Josh and his live dates just keep on coming! If you still havent booked tickets to see Josh playing live then here is an extract from the HMV blog to make you see sense:
“From a previously very soulful evening on Night 7- Night 8 was no less of a disappointment. Meeting and chatting with the lovely Josh Osho (a personal highlight!) and Emeli Sande, I was blown away by this night’s talent. Again- being immersed by music that I would never usually listen to- I was so taken aback by the sheer talent these guys had.
Josh, I’m more than happy to start here..
This guy is amazing. An absolutely adorable personality. Gorgeous, more than gorgeous and a phenomenal voice. All about learning- the forthcoming album L.I.F.E (learning is forever) is all about learning from the past and growing from the experiences you’ve had- not once was there a chance this man was dwelling on the past. Jamming in his dressing room- myself and Poppy-hmv felt more than guilty knocking on the door! But this jamming was brought to life beautifully on stage where Josh broke about 200 hearts. The ladies wanted him and although the men may not admit it- wanted to be him.
I loved it. The set was beautiful, stunning and being met by a ‘I cannot believe you met Josh Osho!!’ the following morning back at the hmv offices, I knew I wasn’t the only one who had seen something really special. Watch this space.”

Josh Osho had a huge night with BBC 1Xtra last night as GIANTS got 2 WORLD EXCLUSIVES!
First off Josh had a live chat with Ronnie Herel before the shows the Midnight Exclusive and the very first play of GIANTS (Midi Mafia Remix with Childish Gambino). Then straight after Ronnie Herel CJBeatz played the original version on his show!

My track of the week is ‘Such Great Heights’ by Postal Service. Im not really a massive fan of electronic music, but this is a lot more minimal then a lot of the stuff you’d generally associate with that, and its super super melodic. Musically its a bit of a journey, when i’ve got my headphones on listening to this I feel like Josh in Wonderland.
Also i used to watch a show called the O.C which in my opinion didn’t last long enough and this just reminds me of a sicccccck show lol
